How to manage my orders in the Smood Restaurant App

Guide to easily navigate into my dashboard and manage my orders

Quick tour of my order dashboard

The left bar offers me a simple way to navigate in my dashboard:

On top left, the usual menu icon will give me access to additional features and settings -> Discover how to set my app, manage my stock, find help...

Bellow, I find the 4 icons to navigate in my order dashboard

  1. New: See all incoming orders. I confirm the order when I start the preparation.
  2. in-progress: Visualise the orders that I am currently making. I validate them as soon as they are ready. 
  3. Ready: Check the orders ready to be picked. I fill the validation code for my take-away orders
  4. Order history

 

I always know what is happening

With a mix of colors and visual signals, I can easily organise my work.

Important: The time on right of my orders is the due time when it will be picked.

? Green: New orders

? Orange: Late orders

? Pink: Ready Take-away orders

 

Order updates: A warning icon is visible when an important change is made to an order. I need to check it as soon as possible

 

New order notification: if I am away from my tablet, a notification will pop and ring when a new order arrives. Tips: I keep the sound of my device set to the max !

 

I can manage my orders

Once my order is open, I can easily access all the details to manage it:

  1. Comments from the customer or the support
  2. The products to prepare
    The pencil allow me to declare a product unavailable.
  3. Button to print the order (if activated)
  4. On bottom right, I always find the button to get my order to the next step: New -> In progress -> Ready
  5. I can access the order options

 

Pause new orders

 

Anytime, for an emergency or if I need a break, I can tap the pause button accessible in the app menu. 

I can tap on the resume button to start again.
