New "Pause new orders" and "Busy" modes features on the Smood app ?

Dear Partners,

The Smood Restaurant app is constantly evolving to offer you an ever more complete user experience. From 4 April 2024, 2 new features will be introduced. 

The "Pause new orders" mode, which pauses your incoming orders and hides your restaurant from, will be revamped in a version with time setting. 

A new "Busy" mode will also be available to extend the estimated preparation time of your orders. It will allow you to manage your order flow more efficiently and keep the customers precisely informed of updated delivery times.

Overview of application functionalities

1. The "Pause new orders" mode, which hides the restaurant on the Smood platform, is evolving.  It will now be possible to set the duration of the pause on incoming orders (15min, 30min, 45min, 1h or until the end of service) to cope with unexpected increases in order volumes.

A second window will give you the opportunity to explain the pause of new orders.

2. A "Busy" mode has been created to extend the estimated preparation time of your orders.  In the event of an intense service, you can now activate : 

  • “Busy" mode to add 10 min to your default preparation time.

  • “Very busy" mode to add 20 min to your preparation time. 

In the meantime, the estimated delivery time displayed on the Smood Platform will be updated.

The mode can also be activated for 15 min, 30 min, 45 min or 1h.
