Deleting your Smood account is a straightforward process designed to ensure the security and privacy of your personal data. If you are a Smood customer, follow these steps to request the deletion of your account.


Step-by-step guide to request account deletion


1. Access the deletion request page



Navigate to the Smood account deletion request page. You will be presented with two options:


- Smood Customer

- Smood Driver



Select the appropriate option that corresponds to your account type.


2. Enter your email address



Enter the email address associated with the Smood account you wish to delete. Ensure you enter the correct email address, as this is crucial for the verification process.


3. Check your email



After entering your email address, press the “Continue” button. This action will initiate an email to the provided address. This email is sent for security reasons to confirm that you have access to the email address associated with the account you want to delete.


Check the inbox of the email address you provided. You should receive an email from Smood containing a confirmation link. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. If you still do not see the email, you can request to resend it.


4. Confirm your request



Open the email and click on the confirmation link. This link is crucial for verifying your request to delete your account. Make sure to click on the link within 30 minutes of receiving the email, as the link will expire after this time. If the link expires, you will need to initiate a new deletion request.


5. Select a reason for deletion



After clicking on the link, you will be redirected to a page where you need to select a reason for requesting the deletion of your account information. Choose the reason that best fits your situation.



6. Complete the request



After selecting a reason, click on “Continue” to finalize your request. A confirmation message will be displayed on the website, indicating that your request has been successfully submitted.


You will also receive a confirmation email stating that your request is being processed. Your account and associated information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.


Please note that if you log in to your account during this 30-day period, the deletion will be automatically canceled and your account will be reactivated.
