Successfully Manage Your First Order on Smood

Welcome to Smood! We’re excited to work with you and support the growth of your establishment through online delivery.


Managing an order involves several steps. We’ll guide you through each one to ensure a smooth and efficient process. You’ll also discover some practical tips to optimize the use of our app.


1. Make Sure Your Tablet Is Ready

  • Always keep your tablet turned on and open on the orders dashboard.
  • Check that your opening hours for the day are correctly displayed on the main screen.
  • If your establishment is open, you’re ready to start receiving orders!



2. Receiving a New Order

  • When a customer places an order, a pink alert will appear on the screen, and a sound will ring.
  • You have a few minutes to review the order before it gets automatically canceled.
  • Tap the screen to open and review the order.



3. Order Details Displayed

Once opened, the order will display the following information:
    1. Order number: Composed of 3 letters, followed by a hyphen and 4 digits.
    2. Customer’s first name.
    3. Pickup time: Whether by the driver or the customer (if Click&Collect).
    4. Order type: Delivery or Click&Collect (indicated by a banner).

    5. Customer comment
    6. Detailed content: Product names, selected options, quantities, and prices.
    7. Summary of fees and the amount paid by the customer.

    8. You can print the receipt by pressing the print button.


4. Preparing the Order

Tap "In preparation" to start preparing the order.
It will now appear in the "In progress" section on your tablet.

Tip: Follow the status changes to maintain good organization and make order tracking easier.


5. Finalizing and Handing Over to the Driver
Once the order is ready and placed in the delivery bag:
✔ Tap the "Ready" button.
✔ Indicate the number of bags used.

The order will move to the "Ready" section, awaiting pickup.
The driver will come and give you the order number to collect the order.

From their app, the driver will confirm the order collection, automatically removing it from your screen.

No worries! You’ll still find the order in your order history.

That's it, nothing complicated! Just wait for your first order and follow these steps for a smooth and successful experience.
